Day 1
Lela Rose
Lela Rose delighted at New York Bridal Fashion Week once again, creating a focused collection with her signature A-line silhouettes, in a wide variety of beautiful fabrics and diverse necklines.
Monique Lhuillier
Monique displayed their stunning collection in an evening party setting. At a black tie evening party, in midtown Manhattan – the hosting room was glittering with gold. Dolled up models strolled the party setting, demonstrating the movement and flow of each gown in a glamorous setting.
Friday 6th October
Day 2
Lihi Hod
Hod introduces her Autumn/Winter 18 “Whiter shade of Pale” which is a collection of twenty gowns all. We are also pleased to announce that as of next April we will also be stocking Lihi Hod’s diffusion line “Dreams” which is a collection designed for brides wanting a luxury wedding gown at a fraction of the cost.
Galia Lahav
Galia Lahav always delights and this collection was nothing less than sensational. Holding on to their signature, sexy style, Galia have designed elegant, exaggerated silhouettes using elaborate and intricate beading.
Saturday 7th October
Day 3
Romona Keveza
Saturday began with the one and only Romona Keveza. A stunning collection made up of their most striking designs yet. Featuring their signature over-skirts and cool crepe numbers, including one plunging jumpsuit that we cannot get enough of!
Pallas Couture
Pallas Couture, a unique couture collaborative from Ausralia oozed their usual sensuality throughout their AW18 Collection. Figure hugging and embellished, the dresses were made from stunning brocade lace with delicate straps and plunging backs.
Sunday 8th October
Day 4
Mira Zwillinger
Couture construction meets whimsical dreaminess in the beautiful AW18 Collection from Mira Zwillinger. From the waist down, Mira juxtaposes that upper structure with soft, willowy skirts made from the finest silk tulle.
Viktor & Rolf
Viktor & Rolf stunned with textured silk white simplicity again. Their avant-gard signature continues to be even stronger with this AW18 Collection. Nothing less than iconic – Viktor & Rolf know how to create a show stopper.
Monday 9th October
Day 5
Marchesa
Never opting for conventional, there was no ordinary runway at this show. Instead Marchesa opted for a whitewashed studio space where they allowed everyone to get an up-close and personal view. Each model was poised on her own podium, giving everyone a panoramic view of the AW18 Collection. Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig have excelled once again.
Romona Keveza
Last but not least, our final buying appointment of our trip was the ever-iconic Romona Keveza. Romona Keveza’s dresses will always make any woman’s figure look stunning with her superb attention to detail and ever perfect fit.
There will be a Trunk Show for Romona Keveza at our Browns Bride store on November 3rd & 4th where brides will have the opportunity to view the entire A/W18 Collection before it hits stores next year!
All the images above are of dresses which we have bought and will arrive with us by April next year!
